Kandrakar

Kandrakar is a mystical place located in the centre of infinity above heaven (or the heavens). The further down one goes within the walls of Kandrakar, the closer one gets to heaven.
It is a kingdom even though there's just the fortress and a few towers (Tower of Mist and the Tower of Ice) around it and has neither time nor space. The white shining building, the centre of the universe is often referred to as the Fortress of Light or Temple of Congregation. Rarely it is called 'palace' and the oracle 'ruler'. It is also the 'threshold of the universe', or 'passageway to all places'.

In Kandrakar, the wisest and strongest beings of all the worlds watch over the balance of our universe.

The only way to Kandrakar is through magical portals and usually these can only be accessed by being invited, which means magical teleportation whenever the fortress summons one, or by having a key to teleport by own will for example the Heart of Kandrakar. There's also a bridge that leads to Kandrakar. It is lucent and when the W.i.t.c.h. girls travel to the fortress for the first time they are being shown their desires and fears, before actually arriving, like a test.

The Oracle once called it "a threshold, a passageway leading to a million universes".

The fortress is a place of balance and harmony, based on the four elements and the fifth essence of energy or quintessence. If the elements are enraged, their anger is reflected through the clouds outside the fortress. They become dark and stormy.

There are a great many traditions and ceremonies that rule the daily life in this place.
Kandrakar serves also as a prison (Tower of Mist) for the most dangerous magical beings.
