Most of the flora and fauna has no names or only appears very briefly in a side comment or a couple of panels, however I still think that looking through the collection of these little bits and pieces tells us a lot about Metamoor and so I will share whatever I was able to find.
RADHAS TREE
This tree is introduced to us in Elyon's diary. Its leaves resemble that of maple and it grows a big and roundish crown of leaves. The colour of these change depending on the season. During Aran the leaves are red and golden, while in Thoron they are white-silver.
METAMOORIAN TREE
While this tree has no name, its kind appears several times in the Caleb and Cornelia special. In Aran it has green leaves forming a flat but wide growing leaf canopy, while in Thoron it throws them off like Earthen trees do in winter. It grows a thick and heavy stem reminding one of an oak and has a striped light brown bark.
RED TENDRIL
The red tendril only appears in issue 7. It sprawls all over the big cathedral like building. Unlike what this picture suggests, the tendril was there before Cornelia arrived in Meridian.
The plant can grow thick branches like a tree or grow in isolated patches mostly made of leaves and thinner stalks. Its leafs have a thin and pointed shape and are blood red.
METAMOORIAN FLOWER
In her diary, Elyon speaks of this flower with high regard. The blossom grows in a tupe-like fashion until folding up at the tip, resembling an Earthen lily. A few of the petals are long and twisting. The stem of the flower seems to have hairs or tiny thorns. It only blossoms in its lifetime but then for several months.
HEALING FLOWER
A flower that is supposedly good for the skin. Elyon uses it trying to get rid of a pimple but apparently it didn't work well. Instead the pimple grew bigger, leaving Elyon think about prohibiting the flower in the entire kingdom.
VIOLET MOON VETCH
The flower behind this lovely title is poisonous. Elyon tries using the colourful pollen of this plant as eye shadow. Sadly her eyes swell shut from the poison meaning it doesn't seem lethal in small doses.
GENERAL VEGETATION
Leaving out the grandeur of Phobos' garden where he invented or had others invent most of the flowers, the vegetation we see in Metamoor often bares resemblance to that of Earth. However there are a few that look interesting. We don't know their names but can enjoy their design anyway in a little gallery.
METAMOORIAN HORSE
In Metamoor we see a lot of these horses. They are used for riding or drawing carts and carriages across the kingdom. They eat grain and only come in a fuchsia or light brown color, on rare occasions with a fur pattern of lighter or darker shade. The mane is always blonde, the same color of the grain that they eat. The one thing that makes them stand is the horn. These horses all come with one longer horn between the eyes, like a unicorn, and sometimes with additional smaller horns down towards the nostrils. Like horses from Earth they make noise if they feel danger and it seems like the sound they make "Hrrrr" is very similar to that of Earthen horses, too.
GREEN RHINO
Frost is in possession of a green rhino on which he rides. It's not unlikely that the beast is from Meatmoor and that there are more of its kind outside the city gates. Apart from its skin colour and red eyes, the general shape of the rhino is just like an Earthan one. It appears to have similar traits and behaviour, too. The rhino appears very fast in speed and strong, trampeling noisily through the street. Size-wise we can see it running through the archway of a cathedral, however only barely fitting, leaving its rider behind in the process. Crimson, this particular rhino's name, has clearly been tamed and even when Frost is not directly around, the beast appears loyal, waiting for him or even aiding him in his endeavour. For example Crimson steps in the way, blocking Taranee off from her friends which allows Frost to capture her.
SARVAK
Much deadlier is the sarvak. In design it resembles a mix between a a western dragon without wings and a crocodile and is seen in green shades only. This creature is rarely in a good mood, however the ones we are being shown in the comics aren't free but were tamed for evil purposes. They have to fight in arenas or are sent to attack cities. When Elyon uses her magic to calm one of them down, she senses pain, anger and resentment. They roar and snap their mighty jaws at any pray or use their strong tail to throw an attacker away. With those sharp teeth, they are likely carnivores.
SCUTTLER
When a scruttler is near, the world rings in fear. These giant bugs are incredibly strong and their shell hard to crack. They are carnivores and have sharp teeth to
eat and bite along with big single claws at the end of each leg, perfect for piercing through flesh and bone. Their voice is a high penetrating screech. One of these creatures was kept in the
dungeons of Meridian - we can only guess for what purpose - until Cedric unleashed it on Alborn and Miriadel. Obviously he wanted to see them killed and the scuttler attacked with fierce blows by
his legs. When WITCH arrive to assist, their magic doesn't seem to impress the big beast. In fact, Will points out that it is so strong, that the Heart of Kandrakar decides to interfere, saving
the girls through shrinking the scuttler. And so the scuttler scurries away. But where there's one, it's very possible there's more somewhere in the kingdom.
METAMOORIAN WOLF
In the Elyon and Caleb special we see the silhouette of a wolf-like creature howling in the Shir Valley. But we cannot know for sure what the design looks like in the light.
JNOOK
Jnooks look similar to Earthen marmots only darker in colour. They have a good sense of smell and are the size of a big cat or small dog. When feeling threatened they growl, taking a danger signalling stance. They live underground in burrows which they can dig out with their sharp claws.
METAMOORIAN PETS
These little guys are from Elyon's diary and have very different and fantastic designs. The first one she has seen with a boy and it reminded her of a cat or small dog. She then drew the other creatures which could mean that they, too, are pets or reminded her of pets on Earth.
METAMOORIAN CRAB
This crab was found by a Galhot boy in a shell. He kept it as a pet in a fish bowl, meaning its the size of a human hand at best. It comes in green colour and seems to like eating spiders and lives underwater.
METAMOORIAN INSECT
A little insect from issue 8. It has a peculiar design and is the size of an Earthen firefly. It has multiple sets of wings and a striped body, similar to long stretched wasp, just in green and black instead of the typical yellow.
