Hello again guys and gals! 

I've updated the Meridian architecture section a little, mostly the castle and also introduced two new sections: 

- Natural laws and magic

- Language

Language was a part of the kingdom section before but I felt that when searching for info on it, it's way better for the language and alphabet to have their own section. I also added some common idioms used across the comic series. 

The Natural laws and magic section is still very text laden since I didn't have time to add in the reference pictures just yet. They will follow once I've got time. 

I also updated the list of enemies and their fates. The formatting was super off and made the list difficult to read. I changed that and hope it will be of better use now. 

Finally, I did start with the Basiliade study. Believe it or not! I didn't just sit idle for a whole year! It took me a LOT of digging to gather the info because it's scarce and scattered, and even longer to really wrap my head around it and write it all down somewhat. I'm still not entirely finished but will try to unlock some parts of the study while finalizing others. At the moment the study suffers the same problem as the natural laws and magic section: It doesn't have any pictures yet. I will gather those bit by bit and add them to the study as I go along. 

As for the picture here in the blog entry: I came across this little pendant and somehow it just looked like a necklace Elyon might wear. Pretty light-magical, no? 

Hey guys, long time no read!

Hope all of you had a great December with all its holidays and celebrations and you had a decent start into 2022!

I wasn't very active in the past two years and I thought I'd officially talk about the reason so you know where you're at and what to expect.

First things first: I am NOT abandoning this website! Meaning I still have plans for this website and I still am adding things whenever I find time. Last year my sole focus lay with the comic and the trailer, plus two very big commissions that I had taken. In general, updates are a lot rarer now, because I created and am still using this site to collect my researches that I'm doing for my Sovereigns project. So whenever I need to research something for the comic, I'm dropping it here. And - you might've guessed it - I didn't have to research much last year, or not necessarily things that might be of interest.

What's up for 2022 for the Studies site?

- More info on Orube
- New Study on Basiliade
- Smaller additions to Meridian

- Smaller additions to Kandrakar

Reasons for these topics specifically is because Orubes' appearence in the comic is drawing nearer, which means I'd love to finalise her current status in her character development, how her life in Basiliade has been or in Kandrakar, since we left her in the original comic series. That's also why I picked one of her new designs to accompany this blong entry ;)

Meridian (like I announced at the start of last year already) still is a bigger focus and will also appear in my comic somewhat soonish along with some other things I'm working on related to the Metaworld which is why I'm still doing some research on that.
As for Kandrakar: I mostly have some older studies lying around that just need a final touch and then they can be published. So they're the perfect thing to get to this year.

So you guys, I'm working on a teaser for the comic (picture on the left) which will reveal a little something on where the story of my project is heading. Finally: I will get back to adding content here once the teaser is through. I'd like to focus on that for the moment to make it the best I'm capable of and once that's done I can return to my studies and sharing my findings with you guys here.

Hey you guys!
It's 2021! So much has been going on in the world, not just my personal world but the big one we call Earth as well! Anyway. I hope you all are still sane and well!

I'm starting a new job next week! Very excited about that. It will put an end to my half year unemployment and related anxiety and will help me get my private life back on track as well. My current focus after being sick for... four weeks or so(?!) is to get the next comic page done for W.i.t.c.h. Sovereigns. Simultaneously I'm writing on the W.i.t.c.h. Halloween Special part 2. In case you don't know what that is, feel free to check it out on my Sovereigns website or my ko-fi page where you can buy it. 

The thing that might be of interest the most for this lovely gang of people here is that I'm working on a Meridian world book. That means I'm using all the fun big and small snippets I found in the original comic series and am trying to complete the holes and extend the world with creatures, events of history, lore and so much more, using my professional experience in world building for games and movies. It started out as a fun exercise but became a much loved project that I will tinker with over this next year whenever I need a break from the comic. Naturally I plan on making art for it as well to go along with the texts. In the end I hope to give to you a nice digital and possibly even paper back copy of a book that holds all the things you could possibly want to know about the world Metamoor, Meridian, the Escanors and eeeverything else connected to these things! I will still continue to make every bit of info on Meridian from the original comic series public here for free for you guys, of course and will keep you updates on the world book as much as I can remember ;)

I will try to update this website sometime as well, however with the new job coming up it might be another month or so until I really get to it.

As you might know, I'm also working on a fan comic sequel which is called W.i.t.c.h. Sovereigns and was available for online read on a separate website. Sadly the website is giving out errors and I can't log in any more. It has been in this state since last week Friday. Meanwhile I contacted the support but haven't received answer yet.I hope they can help me fix the issue and that the website isn't lost O_O ... forever... in space.... T o T

So let's keep our finger's crossed!
